Christopher Robert Evans, born 13 June 1981, is an American actress. His career began as a character actor in television series including Opposite sex in 2000. His fame was boosted by his role as the Human Torch, the Marvel Comics superhero in Fantastic Four (2007) and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2008). Evans is also seen in films that are based off comics such as TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009) Snowpiercer (2003). In addition to his role in the role of Captain America and Steve Rogers Evans earned him recognition for the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2015) as well as Captain America: Civil War. He was able to become one of the most highly paid actors around the globe due to his role in the Marvel series.
