Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is Mexican-born musician born into a musical family. As a child, she was inspired by classical music, boleros and the classic romantic, ranchero, as well as romantic ballads. Ana is passionate about the operas and tangos as well as any dramatic performance. She began singing and learning the piano with her mom, she began her more intensive training in singing at the age of 16 under the renown Mexican tenor Flavio Becerra. She furthered her training in music through the School of Music of Guadalajara University and later at the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. In Guadalajara and Mexico City, she was a member of many chamber and opera choirs. After moving in America, United States, she performed as a member of the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. Then in 2002, she made her way to southern California. The singer currently sings the traditional Latin American songs at private events as a soloist. She is involved with many local organizations and is a teacher as well as a performer due to her enthusiasm of music and art. Ana was also a former member of Community Chorus of Redlands as in addition to the Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana enjoys singing classic Latin American songs and hopes to inspire others to sing the same.
